Fertilize
Fabiola Time to Fertilize

Fabiola is the first to bloom for us. Waterlilies and lotus are about a month behind normal bloom time here in Tennessee.

It is okay to fertilize your plants now.

You can fertilize water lilies and lotus once a month. Most marginal plants only require it maybe every 6 weeks. Floating plants use the nutrients from the water . You can fertilize them separately if they start to turn yellow, by placing them in a separate container with a liquid fertilizer.
