Floating Water Hyacinth
Very helpful in combating green water algae as it blocks the UV rays from hitting the surface. This plant also helps with filtration and gaining clear water using plants. Fish love to nibble on the suspended roots as well as provide a hide away from lurking predators above.
These plants flourish in full sun and will populate pretty quickly if water conditions are good and you have full sun for about 4 hours or more during the day.
